Salford Group, a Linamar Company, is hiring a Customer Service Representative for an 8-month contract. The role offers CA$69,000 yearly, with remote work and full-time hours. You will support Salford products, assist customers, and coordinate orders while collaborating with multiple departments.

The ideal candidate has at least three years in customer service, strong communication skills, and technical aptitude. ERP experience is an asset, and flexibility for peak times and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in a customer service role.
• Knowledge of agricultural equipment and/or the commercial agriculture industry is an asset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong technical aptitude; experience with large ERP systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for all Salford products, including answering customer inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
• Recommend parts and equipment based on customer needs and technical specifications.
• Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email, ensuring inquiries are addressed promptly.
• Offer estimates for spare parts and whole goods and assist customers with order placement.
• Accurately review and enter customer orders for spare parts and whole goods.
• Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and disputes in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Provide timely updates and information on the status of customer orders.
• Maintain detailed documentation for all customer orders and interactions.
• Enter and manage the call queue when working at your desk.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer-related issues.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak times, seasonal demands, and statutory holidays.
• Accomplish other tasks and serve as backup when needed
