A mining company in Canada is seeking an experienced Core Logging Geologist for a 3-month contract on an important project. Qualifications

• At least 2 years of exploration experience with core logging expertise.
• Experience with rare earths or carbonatite systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Log drill core focusing on lithology, alteration, mineralization, and structure.
• Identify and describe mineralization of rare earths, niobium, and phosphate in carbonatite rocks.
• Assist in sampling strategies and ensure adherence to QA/QC standards.
• Maintain accurate core records, photos, and database entries.
• Collaborate with our technical team in a remote camp environment.
