Job summary

Alamos Gold Inc. in Dubreuilville, ON, is seeking a Geology professional to support geological mapping, geochemical sampling, geophysical surveys, and drilling, ensuring service and operating standards are met.

Reporting to the Sr. Exploration Geologist, you will contribute to process design and development in geology, with a 7/7 camp rotation, flights from Sudbury, Toronto and Rouyn-Noranda, and the opportunity to grow within a long-life operation.

Qualifications

• BSc in Geology or related field required.
• 1 year of core logging and sampling experience preferred.
• Must be eligible for Ontario P.Geo or pursuing accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Core logging for surface and underground diamond drilling programs.
• Research information to support decisions and improve processes/methods.
• Document data from field programs and make it accessible to staff.
• Keep up with trends in mine geology and apply to work assignments.
• Mentorship and learning to improve technical knowledge and skill set.
• Compile geologic and assay data on plan maps and cross sections; enter into digital files.
• Enter data into files and databases; perform other duties as required.
