Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. in Canada seeks an Exploration Geologist to contribute to Au-Cu exploration programs. You will assist with planning, field mapping, logging core, data entry, and reporting while upholding SSR’s safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelors in Geology and 3–5 years in exploration, strong English communication, GIS skills (Leapfrog, ArcPRO, ioGAS), and willingness to work in remote camps on a 14x14 FIFO rotation out of Saskatoon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology.
• 3–5 years’ exploration experience.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel and work in camps.

Responsibilities

• Support drilling programs and field activities.
• Conduct geological field mapping and logging of drill core.
• Interpret assay results and prepare reports.
• Maintain QA/QC in field sampling and drilling.
• Create maps and maintain GIS database.
