Qualifications

• J.D./LL.B. and bar in Canada in good standing.
• 3+ years of Commercial law practice experience.
• In-House Counsel experience is an asset.
• Deep knowledge of Commercial law and workflow.
• Strong professional network of Commercial lawyers.
• Strong, practical writing and communication skills.
• Experience drafting/editing client materials and legal content.
• Proficient with MS Office and common tools.
• Highly organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Experience using AI/LLM tools in professional workflow.
• Fluent in French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Write, review and edit practice notes, checklists, flowcharts and precedents.
• Ensure currency and relevancy of all materials.
• Monitor trends and developments in Commercial law.
• Monitor competitiveness of the product offering.
• Recruit and manage relationships with Canadian legal practitioners and firms.
• Make recommendations on content strategy and direction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on content and product development.
• Support sales and marketing via demos, trainings and initiatives.
