LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking a Content Lawyer (Commercial Law) to develop practical guidance for Canadian legal professionals. You will write and edit notes, checklists and precedents, ensuring materials stay current and aligned with product strategy.

Collaboration with a cross-functional team and client-focused content craft are key aspects of this role. The position emphasizes strong legal writing, in-house familiarity, and a willingness to leverage AI tools to improve outputs.

Formación

• J.D./LL.B. and member of one or more Canadian bars (active and in good standing).
• 3+ years of practice in Commercial law.
• Experience as In-House Counsel is an asset.
• Strong writing and communication skills for drafting client materials and content.
• Experience using AI/LLM tools in professional workflows.
• Fluent in French is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Write, review and edit practice notes, checklists and precedents.
• Ensure currency and relevance of materials.
• Monitor trends and developments in Commercial law.
• Monitor product competitiveness and content strategy.
• Recruit and manage relationships with Canadian lawyers and firms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team on content/product development.
• Support sales and marketing via demonstrations and trainings.
