Job summary

Englobe is seeking a Civil Engineering Technologist to join a multidisciplinary Atlantic Canada team on municipal, land development, transportation, and infrastructure projects. You will prepare drawings, support design and drafting, and contribute to field inspections and contract administration.

The role is remote with a base in Atlantic Canada and occasional site visits; strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills and experience with stormwater/hydraulic tools are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology required.
• CET designation or eligibility is an asset.
• 5+ years in consulting engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience with stormwater/hydraulic modeling is preferred.
• Strong drawings, specs, standards, and contract knowledge.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop civil drawings, plans, specs, and reports.
• Support design and drafting with engineers and teams.
• Conduct construction inspections and site visits.
• Assist with contract admin, quantity take-offs, and tender support.
• Support project coordination and scheduling activities.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulators.
• Review drawings for completeness and compliance.
• Identify challenges and contribute practical solutions.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary team across Atlantic Canada.
• Remote role with occasional travel to project sites.
