Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Mining Engineering or related field.
- 15+ years of progressive mining experience, 5+ years in senior leadership.
- Experience in open-pit and underground mining operations.
- Strong planning, design, ventilation, rock mechanics, and processing knowledge.
- Proven remote leadership and strategic thinking.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for all mining disciplines.
- Oversee mine planning and production strategies.
- Ensure safety, environmental compliance, and efficiency.
- Drive innovation in mining methods and automation.
- Mentor a remote team of engineers.
- Review major capex proposals.
