Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust health and safety management systems tailored for mining operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in health and safety management, with a substantial portion focused on mining operations .
• Proven experience in developing and implementing safety management systems (e.g., OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001).
• In-depth knowledge of mining regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation techniques.
• Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills, essential for driving change in a remote setting.
