Job summary

Dexterra Group is hiring a Janitor for Northern Manitoba Remote Camp Operations. The role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing common areas, with travel to and from designated Winnipeg locations. A safety sensitive position requiring a criminal record check and pre-employment drug testing.

Enjoy a 2 weeks on/1 week off schedule, private accommodations, all meals provided, and benefits after 600 hours worked. This is a remote camp lifestyle role in a fast-growing company serving North America.

Qualifications

• Related experience in remote lodge or hotel/institutional environment.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, equipment and products.
• Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check and pre-employment drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all common areas including gym, rec room, boot room and lobby.
• Handle garbage and recycling collection/removal.
• Perform floor care and scrubber operation.
• Clean and sanitize all public washrooms and offices.
• Maintain clean desk and front desk areas; refill hand sanitizer stations.
• Uphold a safe working environment at all times.
