Job summary

Dexterra Group seeks Housekeepers for its remote camp operations in Winnipeg, MB, to provide essential cleaning and housekeeping services for camp residents in a physically demanding, safety-sensitive setting.

Ideal candidates are dependable, team-oriented, and able to thrive in a remote work environment with a 14 days on / 7 days off rotation. Paid travel to and from site is provided along with meals and private accommodations.

Qualifications

• Experience in remote lodge, hotel, or institutional cleaning.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, equipment and products.
• Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check and pre-employment drug testing.
• Must have valid government-issued photo ID for travel.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to stand, walk, kneel for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and housekeeping duties to maintain camp facilities.
• Work in a physically demanding, safety-sensitive environment.
• Collaborate with team to ensure cleanliness and guest comfort.
• Maintain hygiene standards in dining and common areas.

These full-time roles offer a unique opportunity to work in a remote camp environment, providing essential cleaning and housekeeping services to support camp residents. What You’ll Need

• Related experience in remote lodge, hotel, or institutional environment (commercial cleaning is an asset)
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, equipment, and products
• Valid government-issued photo ID for travel
• Ability to complete a Criminal Background Check
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders or stairs, stand, walk, squat, kneel, or sit for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive hand work and work with arms at full length or above shoulder height
