Job summary

BMO Financial Group in Canada is seeking a bilingual Customer Contact Centre Investigator for the Financial Crimes Unit. This remote role supports investigations into financial crime activity, with evening hours spanning Sunday to Thursday, 3pm–11pm EST.

You will analyze data, document actions, develop insights and compile reports and dashboards. Fluency in French and English and banking/call center experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in French and English required.
• Banking experience is an asset.
• Experience in a call center environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts investigations to identify, assess, decide and report on activity indicating exposure to financial crimes.
• Ensures threats and investigations are evaluated, documented, managed and escalated by following standard operating procedures.
• Provides subject matter expertise and oversight of criminal risk and supports analysis, trends and reporting.
• Gathers and formats data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards for insights.
• Supports evidence collection for incident reports, loss prevention, litigation and prosecutions.
• Maintains understanding of financial crime management processes, frameworks and techniques.
