Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking an Investment Specialist for the BMO Investment Centre. This remote, work-from-home role supports customers in wealth management with a focus on investment advice and onboarding of accounts.

You will handle inbound inquiries, assess clients' goals, and guide them to suitable mutual funds and term investments while following approved procedures. Bilingual in French and English is required.

Qualifications

• Typically 1–3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFIC).
• Good knowledge of competitive marketplace trends and product offerings.
• Some knowledge of industry regulations and standards in a highly regulated industry.
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and listening skills.
• Resilient, passionate and curious about opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in the inbound call queue at the BMO Investment Centre.
• Build trust and deliver an amazing customer experience in every interaction.
• Understand customer needs and provide wealth and investment-related sales and service.
• Assist onboarding of new accounts and mutual fund/term investment transactions.
• Follow approved procedures to fulfill sales and service activities.
