Job summary

ARAG Canada is seeking a Bilingual Claims Analyst to support our expansion in Canada’s legal expense insurance market. The role involves reviewing claims for coverage, resolving mid-level claims, and training lawyers and firms on products and risk management.

You will build strong relationships with external lawyers and assist with accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of claims experience, is fluent in French and English, and holds an AMF Claims Adjuster license for Quebec.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in French & English required.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience as a claims adjuster.
• Must be licensed with the AMF as a Claims Adjuster in Quebec.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate and resolve litigation.
• Understanding of legal fees and billing.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess new and potential claims for coverage.
• Handle simple to moderate claims and coverage issues.
• Deliver training on products and risk management to lawyers and firms.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external lawyers.
• Assist with accounting functions as assigned.
• Develop and administer claims management policies and systems.
• Report liability and damages exposure of insureds.
