Job summary

Chit Chats Express in Calgary, AB is hiring a Sales Representative to identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities in the logistics space. You will build relationships, understand client shipping needs, and guide prospects through proposals and pricing comparisons.

You will collaborate with Sales, Data, Product, and Operations to support complex pricing, maintain CRM records, and drive pipeline activity toward revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
• 2-5+ years of sales or business development experience in Logistics/Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound leads, referrals, marketplace research, and reactivation campaigns.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand client shipping volume, current carriers, pain points, platforms, service needs, and growth potential.
• Qualify prospects based on commercial fit, shipping profile, compliance requirements, operational feasibility, and expected revenue.
• Present Chit Chats services clearly and professionally, tailoring conversations to each client’s needs.
• Prepare basic pricing comparisons, savings summaries, proposals, and follow-up materials.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support pricing or service-fit questions.
• Maintain accurate lead, opportunity, and client information in CRM.
• Meet or exceed activity, pipeline, conversion, and revenue targets.
