Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Aviation Security Specialist to join a global team and lead the design and management of security programs across the aviation sector. This fully remote role requires strategic thinking, automation where possible, and the ability to operate autonomously.

You will develop policies, conduct risk analyses, oversee training, and coordinate with regulators and law enforcement worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice or related field.
• Significant experience in aviation security or corporate security.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations (ICAO Annex 17, TSA where applicable).
• Proven ability to develop and implement security strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement aviation security policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify threats.
• Oversee security training for employees and contractors.
• Monitor incidents, conduct investigations, and prepare reports with findings.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and law enforcement on security matters.
• Stay current with legislation, trends, and new technologies.
