Job summary

Flowerbuyer.com seeks a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk (Temporary) to manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and provide backup AR support. This fully remote role is based in Ontario and operates 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., coordinating with vendors and internal teams from home.

The assignment runs approximately September 2026 to October 2027. A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with 1–3 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (AP preferred).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices and code into the accounting system.
• Maintain organized electronic records and supporting documentation.
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies.
• Manage weekly payment cycles via wires, ACH and EFT (USD and CAD).
• Provide backup support for Accounts Receivable activities as needed.
