Job summary

The Wonderful Company is seeking an Accounting Clerk to manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and provide backup AR support. This fully remote role is based in Ontario and runs around 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

It’s a temporary assignment spanning approximately September 2026 to October 2027, with duties including invoice processing, coding, reconciliations, and vendor communications. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting experience (AP preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Microsoft Dynamics considered an asset).
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices, code in accounting system, and maintain records.
• Perform AP reconciliations and forward for manager approval before payment.
• Manage weekly payment cycles via wires, ACH, and EFT (USD and CAD).
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Provide backup support for AR tasks when needed.
