Job summary

Outlier is seeking English-speaking freelancers to help train AI models by evaluating live conversations, images, and videos. This remote, flexible role requires clear written and spoken English and meticulous attention to detail.

You will rate realism and usefulness, and write concise explanations in English. Compensation includes up to $18 per hour for core project work, plus incentives based on Missions and performance.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Strong attention to detail with patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic situations in conversation.
• Experience writing brief, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI models and rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot issues like distorted visuals, flickering, or misaligned audio.
• Provide concise, English-language explanations detailing what was observed.
