Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare images and videos, and explain what looked off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

Work from home or while traveling. Rates vary by expertise and project; weekly payments via ACH, PayPal and AirTM. This freelance, 1099 contract opportunity lets you contribute to frontier AI research and earn up to $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• English fluency and clear written communication.
• Attention to detail with ability to replay/zoom in when something seems off.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when options have flaws.
• Eligible to work remotely from eligible locations.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models.
• Ranking how natural, useful, and clear each model sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging prompt adherence.
• Inspecting outputs to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or mismatched audio.
• Rating outputs and writing clear explanations in English.
