Outlier is seeking strong English speakers to help train generative AI voice, image, and video models on a remote, freelance basis. You will engage in live conversations with AI, rank outputs for naturalness and clarity, and provide concise written explanations in English.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, the ability to discuss realistic scenarios, and the capability to judge and explain AI outputs across multiple modalities.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong written communication.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic scenarios.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to decide clearly when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judge how well they follow prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or mismatched audio.
• Write concise explanations in English describing what you saw or heard.
