Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to help train AI models by evaluating live conversations, image and video outputs, and prompt adherence. This remote, flexible freelance role requires clear written English, strong attention to detail, and the ability to explain observations succinctly.

You will rate and compare AI outputs, provide evidence-based explanations, and participate in onboarding and brief English checks as part of a screening process.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication and comfortable with natural, everyday conversational speech.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above
• Strong attention to detail, with the patience to look and listen closely, and to replay or zoom in when something seems off
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic situations in a natural, conversational way
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rank naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or mismatched audio.
• Rate outputs across dimensions and write clear explanations in English detailing observations.
