Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented, fluent English speakers to help train AI models. This freelance role is remote and hours are flexible, so you can work when it suits you.

You will participate in live conversations, compare AI outputs, and provide concise written explanations in English detailing observations. The opportunity includes core project work at up to USD 18 per hour, plus potential mission-based incentives.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Strong attention to detail with patience to review closely.
• Able to think on your feet and explain scenarios clearly.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Capable of making clear decisions when options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness, usefulness and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering or mismatched audio.
• Provide written explanations in English detailing what you observed.
