Job summary

Observe.AI is seeking an AI Agent Engineer in Toronto to lead the build, deployment, and tuning of enterprise-grade AI agents and copilots. You will own end-to-end lifecycle from design to production, collaborating with customers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates have strong hands-on skills in prompt design, API integrations, telephony setups, and AI workflows, with a track record of delivering complex AI/LLM-based integrations in customer environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in conversational AI, solution engineering, or AI/LLM-based integrations.
• Strong communication and leadership in customer-facing discussions.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI Agents with prompts, workflows, and integrations.
• Lead client demos, communicate progress, and gather feedback.
• Configure systems via APIs and connect CRMs and knowledge bases.
• Set up telephony routing and ensure call quality.
• Design and optimize prompts for performance and containment.
• Collaborate with product and eng to resolve platform gaps.
• Drive client implementations independently.
