Outlier, an AI training platform operated by Scale AI, seeks detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, rank responses, and write concise explanations of issues you observe, all on your own schedule and remotely.

Responsibilities include evaluating images, videos, and captions, spotting artifacts, and rating adherence, quality, and realism. This freelance role offers flexible hours and global participation.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in on content.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic scenarios.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rank naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge alignment with prompts.
• Inspect outputs to spot issues like distorted visuals, flickering, or misaligned audio.
• Provide written explanations highlighting what was observed or heard and justify your judgments.
