Job summary

Crawford & Company is seeking an Accident Benefits Adjuster to join the WorkForce Advantage team across Canada. You will manage accident benefits claims from investigation through settlement, collaborating with insureds, adjusters, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality service. Assignments typically last 3 to 12 months with potential extensions.

Hybrid work is available; CIP LAT experience and English proficiency are valued. Ontario licensing may be required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business, health sciences, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of Accident Benefit Adjusting experience are required.
• Must be comfortable with hybrid work when needed.
• CIP Designation or working toward completion is an asset.
• ADR and Litigation experience (LAT) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Investigation, collection, and analysis of claims information.
• Accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of files.
• Examine policies and settle claims while controlling costs and abiding by provincial licensing regulations.
• Maintenance of accurate billing, time and expense records.
• Work with managers to maintain client relations.
