Staffline is recruiting for a Relief Security Officer in Stratford. You will be a highly visible security presence protecting colleagues, customers, stock, and company assets, and helping to prevent theft and loss.

The role requires an SIA SG/DS licence and involves responding to incidents, producing detailed reports, and following client security procedures. Shifts vary Mon–Sun, 10:00–20:15, with pay up to £13 per hour.

Qualifikationen

• Valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervision licence is required.
• Experience identifying and preventing theft, fraud and stock loss.
• Strong written skills for incident reports and documentation.

Position: Relief Security Officer

Location: Stratford

Pay Rate: Up to £13.00 per hour

Shifts: Various - Monday to Sunday - 10:00 to 20:15

Your Responsibilities

As a Relief Security Officer you will be responsible for:

• Act as a highly visible security presence to protect colleagues, customers, stock, and company assets
• Proactively identify and prevent theft, fraud, and stock loss
• Support the delivery of store loss prevention strategies and contribute to shrinkage reduction
• Monitor and respond appropriately to suspicious activity and security incidents
• Conduct investigations and gather relevant information relating to theft and loss prevention incidents
• Produce accurate and detailed incident reports using digital reporting systems
• Build positive working relationships with store management and retail teams
• Ensure all site security procedures and client requirements are followed at all times
• Respond effectively to emergencies, incidents, and fire evacuation procedures
• Conduct staff and contractor searches where required and authorised
• Maintain professional standards of appearance, conduct, and customer service at all times

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid SIA Security Guarding (SG) or Door Supervision (DS) licence
• Experience identifying and preventing theft, fraud, and stock loss
• Excellent communication and conflict management skills

• Strong written skills with experience completing incident reports and documentation
• Confidence using digital reporting systems and mobile technology
• The ability to remain calm, observant, and decisive in challenging situations
