Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Burnaby, BC is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to support our Madison Centre store. You will manage daily pharmacy operations, administer vaccinations, and provide patient-centered care within a community-focused retail setting.

The role requires a Canadian Pharmacist license in good standing, injection certification, and experience with OAT. Proficiency with pharmacy software (Kroll) and a commitment to clinical services are essential.

Qualifications

• A Canadian Pharmacist license and in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Injection certification is required.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and related training when required.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with provincial and federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Staying current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry and new medications.
• Offering private consultations and maintaining a patient-centered care culture.
• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

• The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.

Compensation

Compensation Details: $48.00 - $51.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
