Job summary

Mondi Hinton Inc. is seeking a dedicated Relief Operator to join the Machine Room team in Hinton, AB.

You will operate the Pulp Machine, perform duties as Utility Operator, Car Loader, or Dry End Field Operator, and ensure safe, efficient operations in compliance with environment regulations. This role requires a high school diploma with at least two relevant science/math credits, a willingness to work rotating shifts, and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as a Utility Operator, Car Loader or Dry End Field Operator and other related duties as assigned.
• Perform routine cleaning, housekeeping and general maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of plant operations and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Assist in the development and implementation of operational procedures and best practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments and team members to address any issues that arise.
