Job summary

Domtar in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan is seeking a Casual Pulp Process Operator to support our warehouse operations and pulp production. The role is permanent part-time and involves operating clamp trucks, monitoring equipment, and maintaining accurate records while adhering to safety standards.

You will join a collaborative team in a dynamic manufacturing environment, with onsite training provided. Hours vary, and casual employees are expected to average 20–30 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Industrial or equipment experience is an asset.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and temperatures.
• Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to remain standing, crouching, or bending for longer periods.

Responsibilities

• Understands and follows all safe work practices and procedures
• Operate and maintain main mill equipment through continuous monitoring and troubleshooting
• Operate and monitor clamp trucks
• Maintain records of pulp production storage and complete bill of lading for trucks
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping standards
• Complete a variety of pulp testing
• Ensure internal and external customer specifications are met or exceeded

The location in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan , Canada , is seeking talent to fill the position o f Casual Pulp Process Operator . This job is permanent part time.

Working in the Mill’s Warehouse driving clamp truck, the successful candidate will be expected to function as a Warehouse Operator. Onsite training will be provided.

What You’ll Do:
