Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran is seeking a Mill Operator 1 - Relief Control Room Operator to join the McIlvenna Bay team on a 14/14 rotation. The role operates and monitors crushers, mills, and process equipment from a centralized control room, optimizing performance while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of milling experience; 12 months as control room operator in processing plant
• Familiar with crushers, conveyors, mills and flotation systems
• Proficient with DCS, HMIs and SCADA; strong data interpretation skills

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor crushers, conveyors, mills, flotation cells, dewatering units from a centralized control room
• Control equipment settings, flow rates and parameters to maintain safe production
• Coordinate with supervisors and engineers to optimize performance and product quality
• Analyze data and KPIs to identify trends and deviations
• Submit production and equipment status reports; respond to alarms and deviations
• Troubleshoot with maintenance; monitor product quality and adjust processes as needed
• Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures; provide shift handovers and records
