Job summary

Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran is hiring multiple Heavy Duty Mechanics to join the McIlvenna Bay project in Northern Saskatchewan. This full-time role is based at the McIlvenna Bay site with either a 7/7 or 14/14 rotation.

You will perform mechanical maintenance on mining equipment, ensuring safety and reliability in a demanding work environment. Successful candidates will hold a Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman or Red Seal certification, with 2+ years of mining or heavy industry experience

Qualifications

• Heavy Duty Mechanic journeyman or Red Seal certification.
• 2+ years as a Heavy Duty Mechanic in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of equipment safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain reliability and efficiency of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Diagnose issues and implement corrective actions to reduce disruptions.
• Record maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history.
