Job summary

The Canada Homestay Network Society in Guelph, ON, is hiring a Relationship Manager for a full-time hybrid role. You will welcome students, liaise with schools and host families, and support the Homestay network with strong communication and problem-solving.

Core hours 10:00–15:00 with some evenings/weekends; travel within the region is required. The position requires at least 2 years in homestay or related work, a 1-year college certificate/diploma, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years homestay or related work experience.
• One-year Community College certificate or diploma.
• International hosting experience preferred.
• Ability to plan events and speak in public.
• Good judgment with high confidentiality.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage relationships between internal and external stakeholders.
• Support hosts, families, and students with cultural/academic issues.
• Plan and deliver in-person training/orientations for hosts and students.
• Maintain accurate records and data in systems.
• Build a supportive local community of host families.
• Respond to crises promptly and refer to professionals as needed.
• Travel within the local region and support outside as required.
