Base + Comm

This position oversees the pro-active client experience for large, complex, and strategic Group Retirement Services customers. You will manage targeted communications, implementations, project management, and overall service delivery. This role involves working closely with the client’s decision-makers to deliver a National Service Plan (NSP).

What You Will Do
  • Full accountability for the client relationship, including plan design, legislative, governance, and investment discussions.
  • Create and maintain an annual business plan.
  • Collaborate with sales to support persistency and execution targets.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and action plans to capitalize on them.
  • Assess and respond to the evolving needs of customers, including cross-selling products and services.
  • Contribute to communication and education strategies.
  • Meet regularly with client and partner teams to monitor service delivery and needs.
  • Lead project management, marketing, and communication initiatives, including system changes.
  • Participate in advisory committees and sales processes, including RFP responses and presentations.
  • Support team training and development as a peer resource.
What You Will Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in Group Retirement.
  • Strong technical expertise in Group Retirement.
  • CEBS designation is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Excellent networking skills and relationship building.
  • Proven understanding of group retirement products, services, and customer servicing.
  • Adaptability, initiative, and drive.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent presentation skills and relationship-building with clients and consultants.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle required for travel.

The base salary ranges from $58,600 to $97,700 annually, excluding variable components like bonuses or commissions. Our recruitment process remains open for at least 5 business days, with rolling reviews of applications.
