As a Team Lead, Proposal Writer, you will be an integral part of a collaborative Marketing and Sales & Account Management team focused on delivering the highest quality information to our clients and customers. What You’ll Be Doing

• Write and oversee the preparation, review and submission of compelling proposals that address client needs and align with organizational capabilities
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and insights required for proposals
• Work closely with the business development team and internal stakeholders to gather information and insights
• Ensure proposals are tailored to specific RFP requirements, accurately formatted, aligned with sales strategies and client needs and complaint with submission guidelines.
• Establish and refine proposal management processes to improve efficiency, consistency and quality
• Develop and maintain a library of reusable content, templates and resources to streamline proposal creation
• Service as the primary point of contact for complex or high-stakes proposals, managing timelines, deliverables and stakeholder expectations
• Track and report on proposal metrics, such as win rates, submission timelines and team productivity
• Coordinate post-submission reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
• Lead, mentor and develop a small team of proposal writers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• University degree in English, Journalism or other related field
• Minimum four (4) years’ experience in creative business writing including experience with proposal writing
• Experience within the Employee Assistance Program, insurance, benefit, or healthcare industry preferred; Proposal Management Certification would be a plus
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to craft persuasive narratives
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and motivational skills
• Proficient in proposal management software (e.g., Loopio,TFPIO)
