Job summary

CIBC in Waterdown is seeking a Financial Advisor to manage client portfolios with a relationship-focused approach. You will be the single point of contact for clients, providing tailored financial advice across banking, investments, lending, and estate planning.

You’ll fit in if you value client service, networking, and ownership—able to travel to banking centres as needed and work weekends/evenings. On-site full-time position with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary degree/diploma and/or 4 years of relevant experience.
• CIRO-ID licensing and AMF licensing are required or in-progress.
• CIFC or CSC certifications and RRC are an asset.
• CSI/ICB courses to support AMF licensing are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients and build a portfolio with tailored financial planning advice.
• Develop business by understanding the local market and leveraging networks.
• Participate in community events to raise CIBC brand awareness.
