Job summary

CIBC is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to serve clients in a fast-paced Personal and Business Banking environment. You will manage a portfolio of mortgage clients, deepen relationships, and deliver personalized financial solutions on-site.

Required 2–3 years of advisory experience, Mutual Funds License or equivalent, and CIRO-MFD licensing eligibility. CFSA is a plus. The role offers competitive compensation, benefits, and growth opportunities within a collaborative, client-first culture.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have 2–3 years of experience providing financial advice to clients and achieving sales results.
• Current accreditation and good standing in Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course) or Investment Funds in Canada is required.
• CFSA accreditation is an asset and eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing is expected.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand personal and business priorities and advise on solutions.
• Provide a forward-looking financial plan and introduce clients to appropriate specialists when needed.
• Build and deepen client relationships through outreach, events, and referrals.
