Job summary

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) seeks a Financial Advisor to build and grow a client portfolio through relationship management and exceptional service. You will deliver the Imperial Service approach, acting as the single point of contact for clients to plan for today and tomorrow’s goals.

The role requires 1–3 years of financial advisory experience, relevant accreditations, and the ability to travel between nearby banking centres.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience providing financial advice and building client relationships while meeting performance targets.
• CIRO-MFD certification or equivalent credential as required.
• Accreditation in The Canadian Securities Course (CSC)/Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC)/Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC) and eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• Quebec certification with AMF licensing and related CIFC/CSC credentials including RRC are assets.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management and exceptional client service.
• Provide tailored financial advice across day-to-day banking, investments, lending and estate planning.
• Develop sales plans by understanding local market and network to convert leads into clients.
• Engage with the community and participate in events to raise CIBC brand awareness.
