Northern Health - BC is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant to bring knowledge, skills, and abilities to our Rehabilitation Services department. The role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to meet client needs and support service operations.

You will carry out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs, monitor patients’ progression under supervision of a therapist or designate, and assist with operational and technical tasks within the department.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Rehabilitation Assistant functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team in meeting the needs of the client, and supporting the operations of the service/program. The Rehabilitation Assistant carries out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs, and assists with monitoring patients’/residents’ progression under the supervision of, and as assigned by, the responsible therapist or appropriate designate. Under the general direction of the supervising manager, the Rehabilitation Assistant also supports the operational and technical functions of the department, service, or program.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:15 to 16:15
