CBI Health's Kanata Edgewater clinic is seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Assistant to support physiotherapists and handle shared administrative duties in a busy team environment. You will work closely with therapists to assist with caseloads and ensure smooth clinic operations.

Starting wage is $18.00-$23.00 per hour, full-time, with opportunities for mentoring and ongoing learning within Canada's leading community healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Kinesiology degree or PTA/OTA diploma required.
• Strong computer, analytical and organizational skills required.
• Ability to meet timelines in a busy clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between the client and the Physiotherapist.
• Assist with the Physiotherapist's caseloads.
• Assemble chart packages and barcode charts for offsite storage.
• Process and perform clerical audits for discharged patient charts.
• Maintain a presentable/organized clinic and ensure that the gym area is free of obvious safety hazards.
• Mail out satisfaction surveys to patients and their families.
• Administrative tasks, including answering phones, processing supply orders and photocopying documents.
• Uploading service provider reports.

About this opportunity

If you are a dynamic Rehabilitation Assistant interested in personal and professional growth, CBI Health has an excellent opportunity for you to meet these goals, supported by one of the largest healthcare networks in Canada. As a full time Rehabilitation Assistant at our Kanata Edgewater clinic, you will be responsible for shared administrative support functions in a team environment as well as responsible for assisting the Physiotherapists with their caseload.
