Job summary

Scotiabank in Canada is seeking an experienced risk and audit governance professional to manage centralized tracking of audit and regulatory findings. You will coordinate with Compliance, AML and SOX, ensuring robust action plans, timely remediation, and clear evidence for closure across the organization.

The role requires 5+ years in financial services risk management within a global or matrix structure, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent with 5+ years in financial services/risk management.
• Experience coordinating audit/regulatory findings across multiple units.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of audit and regulatory findings across the business.
• Coordinate with 3 lines of defense and support functions (Compliance, AML, SOX).
• Ensure remediation plans are robust and timelines met.
• Prepare and review Management Action Plans and closure evidence.
• Provide status updates to senior management on remediation progress.
