Job summary

Scotiabank in Toronto is seeking a high-caliber Manager, GTB Finance to lead FP&A activities, consolidate global forecasts, and provide actionable insights to support capital planning and expense management.

You will design and renovate management reporting, partner with stakeholders across GTB, and mentor a team to deliver accurate, compliant analysis under tight deadlines. MBA or CPA with 6+ years of experience preferred; IFRS knowledge essential; strong communication skills required.

Qualifications

• MBA or MS in Finance or Accounting required.
• CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of financial planning experience and performance reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, P&L reconciliations, profitability analysis.
• Understanding of risk management concepts.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships.
• Design, renovate, and coordinate management reporting, and develop metrics for GTB.
• Prepare and update financial plans, forecasts, budgets, stress tests, and pipelines.
• Collaborate with GTB stakeholders to access MIS data for profitability and funding usage.
• Support ad hoc requests from Executive Management and regulators.
• Ensure adherence to risk, regulatory, AML/ATF and conduct frameworks.
• Contribute to global capital planning with insightful analysis.
