  • Compensation : $68,900 - $96,200 annually

Position Overview

The Regulatory Analyst prepares applications and filings with Canadian economic regulators for capital projects, acquisitions, and rate changes. Ensures compliance with legislation, policies, and guidelines, and supports regulatory processes including hearings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and support regulatory applications, responses, and filings.
  • Develop financial models and regulatory cases.
  • Respond to regulator inquiries and develop utility arguments.
  • Attend hearings and external meetings as needed.

Work Location & Schedule

Based in British Columbia, some travel required, including site visits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of financial analysis experience.
  • Regulatory due diligence or business strategy experience.
  • Business / Economics degree required.
  • Experience in utility regulation and CPA designation are assets.

Skills & Abilities

  • Legislation interpretation and analysis.
  • Financial modeling skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions
