The New Brunswick College of Pharmacists (the College) is the regulatory body for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians licensed to practice in the province. Under provincial legislation, the College is mandated to protect the New Brunswick public by promoting health care and ensuring pharmacy professionals have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide optimal patient care. The College governs and regulates the practice of pharmacy for a healthier New Brunswick.

On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Registrations Support Analyst to join their team of dedicated professionals in Moncton, New Brunswick.

The Registrations Support Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Registrations Manager in their management of the registration and licensing processes. This position provides administrative, technical, and customer service support, contributes to database management, processes applications, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards. The Analyst also provides direct support to the Registrar for Council and Committee functions, including support with meeting minutes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Registrations Support :

Serve as the first point of contact for registration-related inquiries via phone, email, and in person.

  • Assist applicants throughout the application process by providing guidance and clarification on documentation requirements.
  • Track and monitor apprenticeship, internship, and post-graduate training requirements.
  • Manage the Jurisprudence Exam (JE), including preparation of materials, invigilation, marking, and notification.
  • Support additional registration functions as delegated by the Registrations Manager, which may include assisting with registrant services, reviewing documentation, and coordinating pharmacy site changes in collaboration with other team members.
  • Database and System Management Support :

Provide administrative and technical support for the registration database.

  • Liaise with external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve database issues on behalf of the Registrations Manager.
  • Customer Service Support :

Triages all office correspondence and visitors, including :

  • Receiving and responding to general inquiries or redirecting them as appropriate.
  • Monitoring, responding to, and redirecting emails as appropriate.
  • Council and Committee Support :

Records and prepares minutes for Council and Committee meetings.

  • Provides general administrative support for Council and Committee activities as required.
  • Other Duties :

As assigned.

As the ideal candidate, you are a Licensed Pharmacy Technician (preferred) or have similar work experience. Knowledge of the healthcare or pharmacy sector is required. Familiarity with professional licensing and regulatory environments will be preferred. With exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, you possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. A professional demeanor when interacting with registrants, team members, and stakeholders is key to success in this role. Strong administrative skills with attention to detail, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic work environment, are essential. Experience with project management tools, data management systems, especially in registration or licensing settings, is strongly preferred. Bilingual (French / English) will be considered a strong asset.
