Job summary

Brightshores Health System in Owen Sound is seeking a Registered MRT to perform radiographic and CT examinations across shifts. The role emphasizes high-quality imaging and safe practice in accordance with provincial standards.

The successful candidate will maintain competency, instruct patients, and participate in a multi-site coverage model while upholding Brightshores CARE and LEAD competencies and patient safety culture.

Qualifications

• Required: 3 year community college or undergraduate degree.
• Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario or eligible for registration.
• Professional liability insurance current.
• Current registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists or eligible for registration.
• Knowledge of Standards of Practice and RHPA.
• Experience with DR/CR equipment and OR imaging.
• PACS experience and CT experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and patient communication.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Commitment to patient safety and Brightshores CARE/LEAD.
• A strong safety culture and multi-site standby ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and CT examinations.
• Monitor/adjust equipment for high-quality radiographs.
• Instruct patients before and during examinations.
• Maintain competency in required radiology/CT exams.
• Adhere to Standards of Practice and patient safety.
• Work shifts including weekends; standby and multi-site coverage.
