Job summary

Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, Ontario, is seeking a part-time Medical Radiation Technologist – MRT (CT) to join our General Radiography and CT services. The role involves performing radiographic and CT exams, contributing to a high-quality, patient-centered imaging program.

You will work within a dynamic imaging team, participate in quality improvement, and collaborate with radiologists and support staff to ensure timely, accurate results.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized radiography education program.
• Registered in good standing with CMRITO.
• Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program.
• Membership with CAMRT preferred.
• Experience or willingness to train in CT is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform all required General Radiography and CT examinations as prescribed by physicians in accordance with relevant protocols and procedures.
• Maintain strong team environment amongst fellow Medical Radiation Technologists, nursing team, radiologists and interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrate clinical competency in all aspects of General Radiography, CT and minor special procedures.
• Deliver high quality, safe and compassionate patient care.
• Work with and participate in evaluation of students from affiliated education programs as needed.
