Job summary

DiveThru app is seeking Registered Psychologists in Edmonton to deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed counselling across diverse populations, including children, teens, adults, couples, and families. The role involves using DiveThru features and participating in a collaborative, growth-oriented team environment.

Qualifications include a Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology and active registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong understanding and adherence to professional ethics

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, culturally responsive and trauma-informed counselling to populations you are specialized and interested in working with (e.g. children, teens, adults, couples, families, group)
• Integrate DiveThru app features (e.g. booking portal, clinically validated measures, entering tasks to work on outside of session). Training will be provided
• Attend team meetings, case consultations and professional development sessions as part of a collaborative work environment and to strive for quality care
• Commitment to DiveThru's clinical values: person-centred care, cultural humility, feedback-informed approach, compassion and empathy in interactions

Your General Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based, culturally responsive and trauma-informed counselling to populations you are specialized and interested in working with (e.g. children, teens, adults, couples, families, group)
• Integrate DiveThru app features (e.g. booking portal, clinically validated measures, entering tasks to work on outside of session). Training will be provided
• Do your best to attend team meetings, case consultations and professional development sessions as part of a collaborative work environment and to strive for quality care

Your Skills:

Our ideal candidate brings the following to the table:

• Clinical training in evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, SFBT, ACT, EMDR, EFT, ERP, Gottman method, etc.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong understanding and adherence to professional ethics
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education

Required

• Experience providing individual therapy to children, teens and/or adults. Experience providing couples, family and/or group therapy is an asset
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists
• Professional liability insurance, including cyber liability
• Completed a Masters or Doctoral degree in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology or School and Clinical Child Psychology

Salary

The rate of this contract will be $141 per session.

Our Recruitment Process

1. Introductory Interview: A one-on-one virtual interview with our People & Culture team to get to know each other: your background and approach, and what DiveThru is all about.
2. Clinical Assessment: A scenario-based exercise that you will submit to us, followed by a live virtual debrief with our clinical leadership team.
3. Final Interview: A conversation with our studio leadership team about day-to-day logistics like scheduling, caseload, and working with our team.
4. Next Steps: If it's a match, we'll follow up with a contractor agreement and details to get you started!

Working Conditions

• What's your availability? Note that our therapists are required to work a minimum of 1 shift per week in-person at one of our 4 locations (Whyte Ave, Central Edmonton, St. Albert or Windermere).
