Job summary

DiveThru app is hiring Registered Provisional Psychologists to deliver evidence-based counselling across age groups in Edmonton. You will integrate our studio and app tools, attend regular consultations, and contribute to community work while benefiting from a supportive, colleague-focused environment.

Responsibilities include delivering trauma-informed care, maintaining ethical standards, and collaborating with a full team to optimize client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience providing individual therapy to children, teens and/or adults.
• Registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists in good standing.
• Professional liability insurance including cyber liability.
• External supervisor required for Provisional Psychologists.
• Minimum of 1 in-person shift per week at Whyte Ave, Central Edmonton, St. Albert, or Windermere.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, culturally responsive and trauma-informed counselling.
• Integrate DiveThru app features (booking, measures, tasks); training provided.
• Attend team meetings, case consultations and professional development.

Your General Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based, culturally responsive and trauma-informed counselling to populations you are specialized and interested in working with (e.g. children, teens, adults, couples, families, group)
• Integrate DiveThru app features (e.g. booking portal, clinically validated measures, entering tasks to work on outside of session). Training will be provided
• Do your best to attend team meetings, case consultations and professional development sessions as part of a collaborative work environment and to strive for quality care
• Commitment to DiveThru’s clinical values: providing person-centred care, demonstrating cultural humility, adopting a feedback-informed approach, and showing compassion and empathy in your interactions

Your Skills:

Our ideal candidate brings the following to the table:

• Clinical training in evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, SFBT, ACT, EMDR, EFT, ERP, Gottman method, etc.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong understanding and adherence to professional ethics
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education

Required:

• Experience providing individual therapy to children, teens and/or adults. Experience providing couples, family and/or group therapy is an asset
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists
• Professional liability insurance, including cyber liability
• Completed a Masters or Doctoral degree in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology or School and Clinical Child Psychology
• An external supervisor is required for Provisional Psychologists
• Required to work a minimum of 1 shift per week in-person at one of our 4 locations: Whyte Ave, Central Edmonton, St. Albert, or Windermere

Salary:

The rate of this contract will be $117.50 per session.

Our Recruitment Process:

1. Introductory Interview: A one-on-one virtual interview with our People & Culture team to get to know each other: your background and approach, and what DiveThru is all about.
2. Clinical Assessment: A scenario-based exercise that you will submit to us, followed by a live virtual debrief with our clinical leadership team.
3. Final Interview: A conversation with our studio leadership team about day-to-day logistics like scheduling, caseload, and working with our team.
4. Next Steps: If it's a match, we'll follow up with a contractor agreement and details to get you started!
