Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is hiring a Registered Practical Nurse at Bradford Valley Community in Bradford, Ontario. The role reports to the Director of Care and focuses on delivering high‑quality nursing care to residents under a residency‑first philosophy.

The successful candidate will be licensed as an LPN in Ontario, with experience in geriatrics or senior health preferred, and must pass required background checks. We offer competitive compensation and a supportive, inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses.
• Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or senior health is an asset.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with policy, physician orders, the resident plan of care, and the scope of practice of an RPN/LPN.
• Deliver excellent nursing and personal care.
• Create a welcoming environment through teamwork and effective communication.
• Oversee resident care and communicate with residents and families; guide staff.
• Supervise Personal Support Workers/Unregulated team members on the unit.
• Attend to admissions, readmissions, changes in status, and ongoing resident assessments.

Reporting to the Director of Care, the Registered Practical Nurse is a critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of residents.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician’s orders, the resident plan of care, and within the scope of practice of an RPN/LPN.
• Utilizing sound nursing practice principles, ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care
• Creating a welcoming and supportive environment for the residents through teamwork and effective communication with staff
• Overseeing resident care, including regular communication with residents and their families, and providing guidance to staff
• Supervise the Personal Support Workers/Unregulated team members assigned to the unit
• Admission, readmission, and change in status, and provide ongoing assessment to the residents

Who you are

• A Registered Practical Nurse in good standing the Ontario College of Nurses
• An asset is having experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation and/or senior health industry
• You have good judgement, the ability to identify risk and can foster a positive work environment
• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit
