Carecor is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurses to join our team working in the Wasaga Area for our Long-Term Care facilities. We are ready when you are!

Under the supervision of the facility charge nurse or registered nurse, you will provide care in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario, the Standards of Practice of Carecor, and the healthcare facility's policies. Your role involves fostering an environment of optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients. Each assignment involves working a full 8-hour shift at a single facility. This is a casual position with flexible shifts.

Job Qualifications

• Registered Practical Nurse Diploma
• Recent agency experience (potential sign-on bonus)
• Current RPN licensure in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• At least 300 hours of experience in a medical-surgical Long Term Care setting within the past two years
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
• Proof of immunizations for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (MMRV), tetanus, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B
• Proof of negative TB skin test within the past year or negative chest x-ray within the past five years
• Willingness to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of employment
